Terms and Conditions of Sale

By accessing, browsing or purchasing using this site, you acknowledge and agree to our terms, conditions and any relevant disclaimers.

Bio-Shield Ltd ( Bio-Shield) reserves the right to change any or all of the information contained in these terms or conditions at any time. Bio-Shield reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders at their sole discretion. Any orders cancelled by Bio-Shield, but paid for, will receive a full refund.


When viewing the pages of this website, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the following disclaimer. The information on this website is provided for general information only. Bio-Shield has provided this information for the benefit of users in good faith and with all reasonable care. Errors and omissions in this information may occur and Bio-Shield does not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any opinion, information, advice, representation or omission contained on the Bio-Shield web site.

Customer Ordering

By placing an order the customer agrees to and accepts the terms and prices specified in this web site. Price includes weekday delivery and GST for NZ customers. We reserve the right to decline orders for any reason, including, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description or image posted on this web site, or an error in your order. If an order is declined a full refund will be made. We reserve the right to apply a 20% fee to any cancelled orders to cover our cost in processing your order. If we are unable to supply the particular product you require, we will contact you, and inform you of the general date of availability or of alternative products, or offer to cancel the sale. Your contract with Bio-Shield Ltd ( Bio-Shield) will come into existence when you have placed your order and we provide a confirmation invoice or order number by email to your nominated email address.


All prices are in NZ dollars for orders in NZ unless stated at checkout
Bio-Shield Ltd accepts payment via credit cards, cash, direct bank transfer or bank deposit for NZ orders

Purchases via direct bank transfer are to be made as follows:

The order number must be used as a reference on your bank transfer to avoid delays in dispatching your order.


We are not obliged to provide a refund if you change your mind. If we are legally required to provide a refund, the entire unopened order must be returned to Bio-Shield. The full cost of returning the order to Bio-Shield is the customers sole responsibility.

Invoice Payment Terms

All goods remain the sole property of Bio-Shield Ltd until payment and monies due are received in full.
Payment is due within 7 days. Late payments may have a $85 administration fee and interest at 20% p.a. added.
Any and all legal costs incurred by Bio-Shield Ltd in the recovery of the outstanding debt will be added to the invoice and be payable, including Debt Collection Agency fees, Court filing fees and document service fees.

Credit Card Surcharge

There is no surcharge on credit card payments.

Incorrect Bank Account Number

If the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, Bio-Shield will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched until full payment is received.

Stock Availability

If we cannot supply a particular item we will advise you as soon as possible of a revised delivery time.

Delivery Estimates

Bio-Shield will ensure your order is dispatched promptly. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within reasonable time. Reasonable time is deemed to be 20 working days. If the courier company loses your goods in transit, we will replace them at no charge to you.  The replacement item will be sent after the courier company confirms the loss of the goods during transit.

Shipping Delivery Costs

All orders to a New Zealand mainland address using a courier service, are delivered free of charge, Monday to Friday including to a Rural Delivery address.
Orders for Great Barrier Island - see below.
Saturday Delivery is available to urban address in major towns for an additional $5.00
Large commercial orders that require a freight service will be quoted for delivery.

Great Barrier Island Delivery

Orders to Great Barrier Island (GBI) are delivered to Great Barrier Airlines (GBA) for on shipping to GBI.
Orders delivered to GBA are deemed delivered and all risk and liability passes to the customer.
GBA may impose a further freight charge over and above what we pay to the courier company for delivery to GBA.
The GBA freight charge is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Saturday Delivery

Delivery for the weekend can be arranged for customers located in main centres.

Delivery is available to your address then Saturday delivery cost is an additional $5.00 and orders must be placed by Thursday at 3pm.
As Saturday Delivery is carried out by the courier company, we have no control over the actual delivery. If the Courier company does not fulfill its obligation, we will refund the cost of Saturday Delivery

Delivery Risk

Bio-Shield will retain full ownership of the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products. Ownership of those products & the risk in the products will pass to you on delivery to either the the address specified in the order or to GBA. If a product is found to be incorrectly addressed by Bio-Shield then we will be responsible for the re-delivery, If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Bio-Shield will work with the courier company to locate and deliver the product to the correct address. Any additional delivery charges that arise due to the customer providing an insufficient or incorrect address will be borne solely by the customer.

Delivery Time Frames

Delivery Estimates are guidelines only and subject to events outside the control of Bio-Shield

North Island: 1 to 2 business days
South Island: 2 to 3 business days
Rural Delivery: - add 1 to 2 days

Delivery Process

Unless specified by the customer at the time of ordering the courier will leave the goods at your unattended property. In most cases the courier will provide proof of delivery to Bio-Shield.

Damaged goods: If the couriered goods are found to be damaged in transit please advise us immediately. Claims for damage or loss of goods must be filed within 14 days.

Lost Goods: If the goods fail to arrive please advise us as we have a 30 day window to make a claim. If we are advised outside this 30 day time frame ( from the date of dispatch) we reserve the right to reject your claim.
